The Boy Scouts provided us with a fulfilling and engaging experience. Our scout leaders were genuinely concerned about our growth and development. We gained valuable knowledge and skills through our involvement in the organization. I have a distinct memory of attending a summer camp where we encountered some boys from Gary Job Corp who attempted to bully us. However, when we faced them on the baseball field, obstacle courses, and other challenging activities, we emerged victorious, making them respect these county boys.
